**Resort Cart Attendant**

**SUMMARY** Nestled on the shores of Lake Lanier lies Lanier Island Resort an island destination spread out across 1200 acres unlike any resort in Georgia. Our property features 282 guest rooms, indoor/outdoor meeting spaces, golf course, multiple dining options, nature trails, and other points of interest. As a Resort Cart Attendant, youll be responsible for delivering the utmost in guest satisfaction and helping to create memorable experiences for all of our guests. Youll ensure golf carts are in proper working order, prepare golf carts for our guests, offer local insights, and assist guests with navigating the islands. ***ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*** include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Deliver exceptional guest service by anticipating and responding to guests needs promptly and courteously.

Maintain good working relationship and open lines of communication with all departments

Meet and greet guests and their families in a warm, friendly, and professional manner in accordance with Lanier Islands policy and procedure

To ensure that any problems with resort carts are handled quickly, efficiently and courteously

Responsible for the delivery and collection of resort carts reserved by groups

Responsible for washing the resort carts to maintain their cleanliness and usability

Keep the outside area uncontested, neat and clean. Do not allow carts to clog passage area, arrange them neatly after having being uses

Help keep all working areas attractive, neat and clean free of trash and waste

Excellent listening skills and eager to provide excellent service

Uphold the hotels commitment to gracious hospitality and attend all staff courteous training programs

Be an ambassador for Lanier Islands by assisting guest with other island activities

Have knowledge of daily property events, restaurant schedules and hours of operation. Daily functions, local attractions, traveling directions, LLI history, and other local amenities offered to our guests

Continually be updated on weather conditions

Establish relationships with and provide personalized service to resort guests

Responsible for the oversight of guest Golf Cart Rentals to include inspection

Responsible for cart cleanliness, cart supplies, cart conditions and fueling. As well at the rotation of carts to ensure uniform usage amongst the fleet.

Tracking and reporting the need for supplies necessary for day to day operations

Perform other duties as required

**EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE**

Guest service experience

**LANGUAGE SKILLS**

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondences, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, Guests, and the general public.

**REASONING ABILITY**

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

**CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS**

Valid State Drivers License and clean MVR (3 years)
