**Warehouse Associate (GA)**

**Department:** Warehouse Operations **Location:** Calhoun, GA

**WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE**

The Warehouse Associate performs all tasks involved in the production of the companys entry floor matting systems including order processing in computer ERP system through to fulfillment.

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** including the following: Other duties may be assigned.

* Perform production duties including manual lifting, measuring, cutting, mitering gluing, packaging, taping and shipping of carpet matting and other floor covering materials.

* Take delivery of product and put away as it is received into the warehouse

* Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations

* Ship product and generate invoice paperwork

* Move, store, replenish and pack carpet matting and other floor covering materials.

* Process shipments through computer software program

+ Review, process and fullfill orders in computer ERP system

* Maintain a clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, etc.

* Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

**REQUIREMENTS**

* Advanced knowledge of and experience using a tape measure

* Excellent mathematical skills

* Detail and action oriented

* Razor-knife cutting experience

* Reliable; have responsible work habits

* Ability to work in a team environment as well as individually

* Customer Service oriented

* Able to maintain the production pace of other team members

**EXPERIENCE**

* Previous shipping experience desirable

* Forklift experience a plus

* Computer experience

**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**

* Able to lift up to 60 lbs.

* Standing and Kneeling (expected to be more than 60% daily)

* Frequent kneeling, bending, pushing and pulling

* Regular lift and move carpet rolls
