Warehouse Worker (Baler Operator)

We are seeking a warehouse worker/Baler Operator.

Job Duties:

1. Run the baler machine to compress and bind cardboard
2. Tend machines that shred and/or compress and bind paper by-products generated from the warehouse to facilitate the disposition of the waste materials
3. Thread tie bands around the bale and twist or clamp the end of the bands to tighten the bands
4. Opens compression chamber doors and removes bale from the machine
5. Break down cardboard for recycling
6. Transport bales using airlifts, pallet jacks, or hoist trucks
7. Maintain the work area
8. Keep equipment clean and orderly, inclusive of performing routine maintenance on the baling machinery and removing obstructions in the cyclone as needed
9. Follow safety regulations as prescribed
10. Requires knowledge of standard setups, adjustments, and operating characteristics of the equipment and skill to perform standard adjustments and operate the equipment

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Reliable transportation to ensure consistent dependability is required. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position. Must successfully pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with a contractual obligation.
