Performs manual and clerical duties related to the preparation and shipment of customer samples, components and finished products mailed primarily through Fed Ex, UPS, USPS or other similar carrier. Set up, adjust, operate, and maintain single or multi-color press to print single-color, two-color, and/or multi-color work which includes large solids, screen tints, line and halftones with critical color values and registration requirements ranging from hairline to critical or operate similarly situated equipment that applies a variety of non-ink based coatings to a paper web or sheet stock. Review job specifications to determine the press setup according to the imposition of the run (sheet wise or work and turn). Performs manual and clerical duties related to the preparation and shipment of customer samples, components and finished products mailed primarily through Fed Ex, UPS, USPS or other similar carrier. Ensure paper or raw materials(inks, glues etc) are loaded in to feeders, hoppers, bins etc to supply a constant flow of materials while the equipment is running. Make adjustments to equipment based on the size of the paper or finished goods. Deliver equipment components such as plates or spray heads to the equipment for installation. Recycle old/discarded plates. Provide basic assistance as needed to make-ready the equipment for operation. Assist with retrieving plates, hanging plates and recycling/storing plates and other tasks associated with make-ready of the press.
